The Spain Park High School baseball team claimed its second consecutive Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 12 championship April 10 following a 3-1 win over Vestavia Hills in eight innings.

Hunter Hall led the Jaguars offensively as he finished 1-for-3 at the plate with a solo homerun.

Josh Close finished 2-for-4 at the plate. Paul Angel went 1-for-3 at the plate and drove in one run. Grant Veteto also finished 1-for-3 at the plate.

Hall earned the win on the mound after giving up just one unearned run on two hits with one strikeout and three walks in 7 1/3 innings.

Mikey White entered in relief and picked up a save after pitching a scoreless 2/3 of an inning.
