Earl Douglas Jowers III of Shelby passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at UAB hospital. He was 48 years old.

He is survived by his daughter, Autumn Lrae Jowers; father, Earl Douglas Jowers Jr. (Donna); his mother, Dorothy Sitz Jowers; two brothers, Randy Jowers and Scott Jowers (Wendy); two stepsisters, Gena Lowery and Jolyn Broadhead; three nephews, Brett Jowers, Chase Benson and Cain Benson; three nieces, Savannah Lowery, Abby Jowers and Alivia Jowers; and countless other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 21 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Columbiana. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the account of Autumn Jowers at any Regions Bank. Condolences may be sent to the Jowers family, 140 Lauchlin Lane, Pelham, AL, 35124.
