William Isaac (Bill) Eaves

Columbiana

William Isaac (Bill) Eaves of Columbiana left this earth at age 80 from a short battle with cancer to be with his Lord and Savior and to be with his other family who has gone ahead of him on Thursday, April 19, 2012.

Bill Eaves

He left behind a loving wife, Ozelle Eaves; two sons, William Craig Eaves and James (Jimmy) Rodney Eaves; two daughters, Sonja Grave Burk and Sherry Ann Hall; sister, Evelyn Joiner; along with seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Bill was a member of The First Baptist Church of Columbiana. Bill was a graduate of Shelby County High School. Upon leaving high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force, with the 366th squadron. After four years in the U.S. Air Force, he came home to become a master industrial electrician until retirement at 62 at which time he loved to work on his small 50-acre farm raising cattle, horses and many other animals. He loved to garden with his wife and had a large garden for many years which he shared with family and friends.

He was a gifted man who could repair most anything in his shop and did so for many people. He was kind hearted, a loving and compassionate man, a man who knew Jesus.

Bill will be truly missed and we as his family want him back but that won’t be because now the Lord has him in his Glorious Kingdom in a young, healthy, spiritual body working for and worshiping the Lord. Bill is at home now and until we see him again when our journey is done on this Earth as his was, may he be forever in our minds and our hearts and may God bless him in Heaven.

Visitation will be at Bolton Funeral Home in Columbiana on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. with the funeral on Monday, 1 p.m., April 23, 2012. The Rev. Mike Miller from First Baptist Church of Columbiana will be officiating. Please sign online condolences at Boltonfuneralhome.com.
