Danny Leon Crumpton, age 57, of Clanton went home to be with the Lord April 24, 2012. He was born Dec. 14, 1954 in Bessemer to the late James Leon and Louise Headrick Crumpton. Survivors are his wife, Donna G. Crumpton; son, Christopher Scott Crumpton; brother, Gerald W. (Judy) of Dallas, Texas; sister, Sandi Herron (Jerome) of Chelsea; and nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is predeceased by his brother, James W. Crumpton.

Memorial services will be May 5 at Hopewell Road Church of God in Bessemer at 5:30 p.m., followed by a visitation with the family.
