Thanking community for prayers, help

Dear Editor,

On Nov. 6, 2011, our son, Telly Head, was in a car accident, and we would like to thank the angels God sent to his rescue.

First, we would like to thank Cathy and Katy Brown for arriving at the accident as it was happening.

Katy alerted everyone, including the fire department and police department.

We are very blessed to have a fire department that cares about us.

Also, we would like to thank Mayor Alan Lowe for his support, and our chief of police, Lamar Vick.

We would like to thank our church and surrounding churches for their prayers; they are being answered. Thanks for all the visits and phone calls.

Telly is home now after almost five months at UAB. He’s doing very well, so please continue to keep us in your prayers.

We are so blessed to have you all in our lives.

After staying at the hospital for so long, the best thing for me to do was to go to the store and see and talk to our friends, who would ask “How are you all?” and “How’s Telly?” I felt whole again.

Friends, please continue to pray and we will always pray for you all. May God bless you all.
