The Briarwood Christian School boys’ soccer team ended its season May 5 following a 2-1 loss in double overtime to John Carroll Catholic in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A quarterfinals.

Salvatore Cuneo scored the lone goal for the Lions in the second half off an assist from Devin Bowman.

Briarwood Christian goalkeeper Jordan Box finished with three saves in the match.
