Mrs. Helen R. Tillery, age 85, of West Blocton entered into rest on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Columbiana Health and Rehab. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in West Blocton. Rev. Bob Praytor officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville.

Mrs. Tillery was a teacher’s aide at West Blocton Grammer School. She was very active at West Blocton First Baptist Church and a library volunteer. She was residing at Columbiana Health and Rehabilitation Center, which she considered her home and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Hastings (Bill) of Shelby; grandchildren, Mike Hastings and Todd Hastings (Michelle); great-grandchildren, Courtney, Cameron, Macy, Maddie and Morgan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
