Ruth E. Peacock, 84, a resident of Carrollton, Ga., formerly of Sterrett, died on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Kuykendall officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Peacock is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Peacock. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Davis (Joe); grandchildren, Andrea Davis and Tiffany Rooks; brothers, Fred Stanford (Nell) and Thomas Stanford (Lourie) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
