The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from May 23-30:

 

May 23

-Installing an eavesdropping device from the 200 block of Shelby County 443, Wilsonville (residence/home).

 

May 24

-Rape I from the 900 block of Shelby County 10, Montevallo (residence/home).

-Domestic violence – strangulation from the 4700 block of Shelby County 71, Shelby (residence/home).

-Burglary from the 4600 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham (residence/home). Damaged was a window in the amount of $200. Stolen were red Dell laptop computer valued at $500, hooka valued at $40 and flavored tobacco valued at $10.

-Theft of property and fraudulent use of debit card from 6800 Whitetail Drive (residence/home). Stolen were debit card, vehicle tag valued at $125 and LG Trackphone valued at $75.

 

May 25

-Burglary and harassment form Truss Curry Circle, Shelby (residence/home).

Stolen were hair clippers valued at $70.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 5500 block of Parkside Drive, Birmingham (residence/home). Stolen was a Cobra radar/laser detection valued at $150 and $85 in U.S. currency.

-Theft of property from the 2600 block of Buckboard Road, Birmingham (residence/home). Stolen were diamond princess ring valued at $269, diamond triple rope band valued at $2,350, brooch with full-cut diamonds valued at $1,300, gypsie-style ring with cut diamond valued at $700, flower ring with center-cut diamond and full diamonds valued at $1,200 and solitaire ring with brilliant cut diamond valued at $4,250.

 

May 26

-Unlawful breaking an entering a vehicle from the 600 block of Smokey Road, Alabaster (residence/home). Stolen was a Kenwood car CD player of unknown value.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 600 block of Smokey Road, Alabaster (residence/home). Stolen was a Sanyo 19-inch television of unknown value.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from Whaley Drive, Montevallo (residence/home). Stolen was an RCA dual screen DVD player valued at $200, HTC Inspire car charger valued at $50 and Dodge Grand Caravan owner’s manual of unknown value.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from Whaley Drive, Montevallo (residence/home). Stolen was a pack of Marlboro Lights valued at $5, brown leather case with 40 CDs of unknown valued, silver Zippo lighter of unknown value and $4 in U.S. currency.

 

May 27

-Domestic violence – assault from the 0 block of Oak Wood Lane, Alabaster (residence/home).

-Unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of controlled substance from the 7700 block of Shelby County 47, Shelby (residence/home). Recovered were approximately one gram of green leafy substance – marijuana and bottle of Patron tequila with approximately 247 grams of bath salts.

-Possession of a controlled substance from Shelby County 45 and Twin Pines Road, Sterrett (highway/street). Recovered were Lortab pills.

-Burglary from the 33000 block of Alabama 25, Wilsonville (commercial). Stolen were Xbox 360 valued at $70, Xbox 360 with lightning bolt exterior valued at $70, Playstation valued at $70 and Pyramid speakers valued at $35.

-Theft of property from Willow Leaf Road, Harpersville (residence/home). Stolen was a galvanized steel channel with 10- and 12-foot sections valued at $5,000.

-Theft of property from Willow Leaf Road, Harpersville (residence/home). Stolen were Trane industrial air conditioner valued at $6,000, carrier air conditioning unit valued at $7,000, 200 feet of handmade wrought iron railing valued at $8,000, 1,000-plus feet of galvanized steel valued at $20,000 and fence posts of varying heights.

 

May 28

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia from Shelby County 17 and Shelby County 22, Montevallo (govt/public building). Recovered were Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and orange prescription pill bottle.

-Burglary III from the 400 block of Shelby County 8, Wilsonville (residence/home). Stolen was a Husqvarna chainsaw valued at $455.

-Burglary from the 100 block of Chestnut Lane, Helena (residence/home). Stolen was a Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Sony Xbox 360 and games, Nikon Cool Pix camera, iPad first generation, Dell laptop and Trazodone tablets of unknown value.

-Theft of property from the 4700 block of Heatherbrook Road, Birmingham (residence/home). Stolen was a 3-karate garnet ring valued at $225, 3/4-karate gold wedding band valued at $300 and 1/8-karate solitaire ring valued at $1,300.

 

May 29

-Burglary and theft of property from the 400 block of Shelby County 54, Montevallo (residence/home). Stolen was a 42-inch flat screen television valued at $60, Sony Playstation 3 valued at $350, Xbox 360 valued at $300, 2-karat diamond ring, half-karat ring, 1-karate pendant necklace and rope chain, all valued at $6,500 and jar of quarters valued at $60.

-Burglary from the 4000 block of Caldwell Mille Lane, Birmingham (residence/home). Stolen was a Dell Inspiron valued at $1,028.48, assorted DVD movies valued at $150, Wii game console valued at $200 and assorted Wii games valued at $100.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 300 block of Shelby County 50, Vandiver (residence/home). Stolen was an Alabama driver’s license valued at $20, debit card valued at $0, Social Security card of victim valued at $0 and $30 in U.S. currency.

 

May 30

-Rape II from the 100 block of Ridgeline Drive (other/unknown).

-Domestic violence – strangulation and domestic violence III assault form the 300 block of Four J Road, Chelsea (other/unknown).

-Assault from Dogwood Circle, Birmingham (highway/street).

-Burglary from the 7000 block of Meadowlark Drive, Birmingham (commercial). Stolen were two computers valued at $3,000, two computer systems valued at $30,000, various broken windows valued at $5,000.

-Theft II from the 4800 block of Caldwell Mill Road (residence/home). Stolen were collectable gold coin valued at $1,500 and several assorted gold bracelets of unknown value.
