Sophie Michelle Giroux, daughter of Jeff and Holly Giroux of Northport, was born on May 17 at Northport Medical Center weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces and measuring 19 inches long.

Grandparents are Ray and Elaine Giroux of Alabaster and Rick and Teresa Atchley of Somerville. Great grandparents are G.W. and Esther Atchley and Edna Jennings, all of Lacey’s Spring and Jeannette Giroux of Hollywood, Fla.
