HOOVER — Hoover residents are invited to attend a town hall meeting about transportation issues June 19.

State Rep. Paul DeMarco (R-Jefferson) is hosting the event at Simmons Middle School from 6-7 p.m. Alabama Department of Transportation Director John Cooper will speak about road projects in Jefferson and Shelby counties, with an emphasis on projects in the Hoover area.
