Mary E. Merrell, age 78, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at her home in Calera. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Bolton Funeral Home in Columbiana with Bro. Pete Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera. Bolton Funeral Home in Calera directing. Visitation will be Saturday, July 21, 2012, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Mrs. Merrell is survived by her husband, Wilton Merrell; son, Kenneth Merrell (Patricia); daughter, Dianne Merrell-Stewart (Terry); brother, Joe Kilgore (Gail); sisters, Gail Maddox (Don) and Virgie Fannin; grandchildren, Brandon Merrell, Amanda Merrell and Sarah Stewart.
