Publix Super Markets Charities donated $10,000 to the Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama (GSNCA) to support GSNCA’s expanded programs in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts, including the Forever Green initiative. “By investing in GSNCA, Publix Super Markets Charities is doing more than investing in a cause or a cure,” said GSNCA CEO Trish Coghlan. “They are committing to a generation.” Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama is a United Way community partner and serves 15,300 girls ages 5-17 and 5,000 volunteers across 36 counties.
