CHELSEA – Ekklesia Coffee House may serve its last cups of coffee this weekend.

Owners David and Terri Williams, who purchased the coffee house in summer 2011, have decided to not renew the building’s lease at the end of July.

Ekklesia’s Facebook page is full of merchandise, equipment, furniture and décor for sale.

“We regret to inform you all that our lease is expiring at the end of the month, and we have chosen for different reasons not to renew,” the Facebook site stated.

David Williams said the business may have a potential buyer, but nothing was confirmed as of July 24.

The Williams plan to close the business’ doors July 28.

“Thank you for allowing us to serve you,” the Williams stated on Ekklesia’s Facebook page. “It’s been a pleasure.”
