Billy Wayne Rose, age 71, of Vincent, went to meet his Lord on July 29, 2012. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed. He was a member of Vincent Revival Center and dedicated his life to lead others to know his Lord and Savior. He was retired from IBM, served in the Army National Guard and was a native of Meridian, Miss.

He lay-in-state from 10-11 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m. at the Vincent Revival Center on August 1, 2012. Burial occurred at Vincent Cemetery. Rev. Michael Andrews officiated.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Rose of Vincent; son, Scott Rose (Sonya) of Tampa, Fla.; daughters, Kristi Childers (Jason) of Vincent, Kathy Brasher of Pell City and Kim Rose of Vincent; mother, Eva Lewis of Meridian, Miss.; sister, Betty Oliver (Hugh) of Union, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jason and Ryan Childers, Eric Lewis, Elex Harris, Michael Kinard and Wade Beevers.
