Funeral service for Franklin Howard Roberson, 83, was Tuesday, July 17 at Vincent Revival Center at 11 a.m. The Rev. William Rayfield officiated and burial was in Arkwright Cemetery.

He passed away July 15, 2012 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Roberson; three sons, Steve, Franky and Timmy Roberson; and grandson, Michael Pender.

He is survived by his daughters, Della Pender (John), Gail Green and Gwen Valenti (Mike), all of Harpersville; daughters-in-law, Cathy Roberson and Marilyn Roberson of Harpersville; grandchildren, Mark Green (Jamie), Holly Gates (Donny), Crystal Plata (Abel), Jeremy Sims (Jenny), Shannon Goodwin (Chuck), Melanie Goodwin (Glenn), Joey Roberson, Aimee Foster, April Roberson and Shane Robinson (Nikki); 22 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tyler Wood, Josh Strickland, Michael Adair, Danny Adair, Adam Green, Anthony Roberson, Jay Stiles and Scotty Sims. Condolences may be offered online at Curtisandsonfh.com.
