Bert Pendleton, age 79, of Montevallo, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012. Bert was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Montevallo and a great fan of Auburn football.

She was preceded in death by her son, Greg Pendleton; parents, James and Rosie Barnett; brother, Virgil Barnett; sisters, Mary Gothard, Mable Moore and Bobbie Mills.

Bert is survived by her loving husband, Bill Pendleton; daughter-in-law, Karen Pendleton; granddaughter, Anna Pendleton; sisters, Dot Blake and Billie Davis (Leon).

Her visitation will be held Monday, August 6, 2012 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8 p.m. for her friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Montevallo City Cemetery. Dr. Brian Wyatt and Rev. Buddy Freeman will be officiating her services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Montevallo.
