CALERA – A man robbed Calera’s Quality Inn at gunpoint Aug. 10.

According to Police Chief Sean Lemley, a white male entered the hotel around 2 a.m. holding a handgun. He took $184 and ran away from the hotel, Lemley said.

“We have some leads we’re following,” he said.

Lemley said the gun was not discharged, and no one was injured.

The Shelby County Reporter will provide more details as they are released.
