It is with great sadness that the family of Claudus E. Tidwell announces his passing after his courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at the age of 85 years.

Claudus was born April 23, 1927 in Blount County to the late Clayton and Ila Tidwell. Claudus served in the U.S. Army, The United States Air Force and The Alabama National Guard.
