Calera Eagles march to a new beat Aug. 17

CALERA – The Calera Eagle marching band will perform in a preview show Aug. 17.

The performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Ricky M. Cairns Memorial Stadium, and there is no admission charge.

The preview show will feature selections of the Eagle Marching Band’s 2012 production,

Reflections of Spain, as well as other songs including stand tunes for the crowd to enjoy.

Fred’s Small Town BBQ will be selling food for this event, which includes barbecue pork, Polish sausage or hamburgers and chips for $5. Drinks will be sold at the concession stand by the Calera Eagle Band Boosters.

A portion of the proceeds from Fred’s Small Town BBQ sales will be donated back to the Calera Eagle band program.

In case of inclement weather, the preview show will be in the auditorium at Calera High School at 6:30 p.m.
