Rosie L. Brown, age 79, of Brierfield passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 in Alabaster.

Rosie was a lifelong member of the Ashby Baptist Church in Brierfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brown.

Her surviving relatives include her four daughters, Sonya Stephens (Kermit Jr.), Ann Logan (Mike), Reva Epperson (Tommy) and Patricia Smith; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8 p.m. for friends. Her funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Ashby Baptist Church in Brierfield. She will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service with Dr. Jim Parker and Rev. Stan Huguley officiating her services. Burial will follow in the Ashby Cemetery in Brierfield.
