Scout and Tiara need loving home

Shelby Humane Society’s pets of the week, Scout and Tiara have it all…except for a forever loving home. But with your help, they will have that too!

Scout (contributed)

At 60 pounds, Scout is a handsome large dog but is extremely well mannered on a leash and would be a great addition to a family with kids. Are you a runner? He loves to jog or would happily spend the weekend hiking at Oak Mountain. While Shelby Humane doesn’t know for sure, they have a hunch that Scout would also love swimming at the lake. He will definitely need his fair share of exercise to stay healthy and lean, but he will also be happy to give you kisses and cuddle at the end of the day. Come take Scout for a walk at the shelter, and he’s guaranteed to make your heart melt with his golden brown eyes!

Tiara (contributed)

Tiara is a 2-year-old shorthaired, slender girl who is full of purrs when you approach her cage. Her princess-like beauty lives up to her name, with mesmerizing blue eyes and cream fur. She came to the shelter as a stray at the end of June and cannot figure out why she is still here! She is very affectionate and would be the purrfect companion. If you have room in your heart and home for gorgeous Tiara, visit her at the shelter today!

You can also visit all of the adoptable pets at the shelter in Columbiana Tuesday-Saturday from noon-5:30 p.m. Check out the website Shelbyhumane.org or follow them on Facebook for more information. Choose Shelby Humane Society and help save a life!
