Margaret Gladys Nobles, age 84, of Clanton, passed away on Sept. 3, 2012, at home surrounded by her family.

Margaret was born March 30, 1928, the daughter of the late Ernest and Annie Milligan Roe. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Nobles; son, Larry Parker; and granddaughter, Stevie Gamble. Her survivors include daughters, Kaye Gamble (Rick) and Lyn St. Leger (John); son, Gregory Nobles (Terri); sisters, Jo Greene and Betty Sullivan; grandchildren, Christie Bonner (Tom), Dale Parker, Katie Nobles, Rebecca Brown (Danny), C. J. Gamble and Carrie Ann Hunter; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Abby Bonner, Danielle Parker and Danielle Brown; and daughter-in-law, Darlene Parker.

The family received friends at Charter Funeral Home on Sept. 5 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. with service following at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Interment was in Helena City Cemetery. Brother Greg Nobles officiated. Online condolences at Charterfuneral.com.
