VINCENT – The Vincent High School volleyball team lost their Class 2A, Area 10 opener to Altamont in straight sets 13-25, 11-25, 9-25 on Sept 4 at home.

The Yellow Jackets were led by sophomore Joi Stamps’ four blocks and two kills while freshman Brooke Denson added a pair of blocks and kills for Vincent.

Vincent then took on Talladega County Central in a non-area match and battled in a 23-25, 25-27 loss. Bernadette Stamps had three aces, three kills and a block with Denson adding three kills, an ace and a block
