Rebecca Lynn Holland, age 54, of Chipley, Fla., passed away Aug. 26, 2012, at home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1958, in Birmingham. She had lived in Chipley since 2009 coming from Ashby and Calera. However, she spent her younger years in Chipley from 1978 to 1993. She worked for the Northwest Community Hospital in Chipley as a licensed practical nurse.

She was preceded in death by her father, Benny Burke Frederick Sr.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Ann Tharp of Birmingham; three sons, Adam Wooten of Clanton, Jason (Lynn) of Chipley, Fla. and Cody Birge (Misty) of Chipley, Fla.; two brothers, Kenny Frederick (Regina) of Calera and Benny Frederick (Laura) of Montevallo; two sisters, Marie Herring (Duane) of Marianna, Fla. and Michele Peck of Navarre, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service was held with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Fla. in charge of arrangements.
