The Chelsea High School volleyball team rallied in the second set to tie the match, 1-1, but couldn’t keep the momentum going in a 22-25, 25-22, 12-25, 15-25 loss Sept. 13.

Senior Holly Marbut led the Hornets (7-6, 2-1) with 13 kills and 22 digs.

Junior Courtney Campbell added a team-high 22 assists and 13 digs while Emma Cotney led the defense with 15 digs.

Freshman Kelsi Hobbs led John Carroll with 10 kills with senior Tara Runyon adding 20 assists.
