Roman and Ashley (Cornelius) Dixon welcome their daughter, Carah Ashley, born Aug. 2, 2012.

She arrived at 1:27 p.m. weighing 8 pounds 1.5 ounces and was 20 inches long. She was eagerly greeted by her siblings, Cole, Case, Clay and Casadie. Grandparents are Bill and Sadie Trawick of Helena and Roger and Mary Dixon of Tuscaloosa. Great-grandparents are T.C. and Eulene Dixon of Thomasville.
