The Oak Mountain volleyball team improved to 4-0 in Class 6A, Area 8 play with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-22) victory over Chelsea at home Sept. 25.

Hannah Beach led the Eagles (17-3) with 27 assists, seven kills, three blocks and four aces. Hannah Kowal led the offense for Oak Mountain with 14 kills. Emily Cosgrove finished with eight kills, four aces and six digs.

Freshman Madison Turner led the Lady Hornets with four kills and three aces. Courtney Campbell finished with eight assists and Chelsea Tyson had a pair of blocks for Chelsea.

Oak Mountain will return to action on Thursday when they host Mountain Brook. Chelsea will host Spain Park Sept. 27.
