Briarwood sweeps Ramsay

NORTH SHELBY- Briarwood Christian School improved to 19-12 overall and 2-2 in class 5A Area 9 play with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-20) victory over Ramsay High School on Sept. 27 at Briarwood.

The Lions were led by Mariah Light with 13 kills and two blocks while Madison Chambers added six kills and 12 digs. Hope Donahue chipped in four aces and 13 digs. Adeline Reiser paced the Lions with 19 assists, two aces and a block. Christie Robertson had 13 assists while Jennie Reese added three aces.
