The Thompson High School volleyball team improved to 4-1 in Class 6A, Area 7 play with a 25-17, 25-14, 25-10 sweep of Wetumpka on Sept. 27.

Kelsea Bivins led the Warriors with 12 kills, two digs and three aces. Katie Guise added four kills, three aces and three blocks. Tara Miller led Thompson with 20 assists while August Newberry posted a team-high 12 digs.
