Handley boy Philding and Shanna Handley of Shelby are proud to announce the birth of their son, Slade Ellis Handley, born on Aug. 20, 2012, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Slade weighed in at 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19-and-one-fourth inches long. Proud grandparents are Jimmy and Faye Tillis and Shelia Handley.
