The Evangel Christian allowed just seven Success Unlimited points for a 3-0 (25-2, 25-4, 25-1) sweep on Oct. 4.

The Lightning (23-5, 11-0 in ACSC) served up 44 aces, 31 of which came from Kierson McGriff. McGriff added 15 assists, three kills and a team-high 11 digs for Evangel.

Elizabeth Ragland led Evangel with eight kills while Kate Ragland added six aces.

The Lightning will return to action on Oct. 11 when they host conference-rival Hope Christian.
