Carroll Jones, age 71, of Columbiana, passed away on Oct. 22, 2012. Visitation will be Oct. 24 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Oct. 25 at Columbiana United Methodist Church with Rev. Joel Miller officiating. Mr. Jones will lie-in-state at the church from 9-11 a.m. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Gardens. Mr. Jones worked for Brasfield and Gorrie and Doster, McCory and Golden Construction.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents, Lucia and Nelma Jones; and his brothers, Johnnie Edward Jones and Louie Earl Jones. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jones; daughter, Renea Smith (Donny); grandchildren, Dustin Smith (Jane) and Kelani Smith; great-grandchildren, Adelynn Grace Smith and Grant Harris Smith; sister, Evaughn Gould (Jim); brother, Virgil Jones (Joan); and other family and friends.
