Cheryl Wilkes and Dale Wyatt of Alabaster are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Suzanne Wyatt of Montevallo to David Patrick Murphy Jr., son of Sherrell and David P. Murphy Sr., of Alabaster. Their wedding is set for Dec. 27, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. at Chapel in the Glens Wedding Chapel in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

The bride’s maternal grandparents are the late June B. and Homer Lavon Clay and paternal grandparents are Ann and the late Drennen Wyatt. The groom’s maternal grandparents are the late Virginia and Paul Murphy and paternal grandparents are Betty Hartley and the late Ralph Fowler.

The bride is a Jemison High School graduate and the groom is a Thompson High School graduate.
