CALERA – The Calera City Council will begin meeting at a new time at the Nov. 19 council meeting.

The council’s work session will begin at 6 p.m. at Calera City Hall, and the meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m. Previously, the work session began at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting at 7 p.m.

Mayor Jon Graham said the new time is “better suited for the council members and staff personnel.

“In the last administration, the time was set to accommodate some of the council (members’) work schedules,” Graham said.

The Calera City Council meets at city hall, which is located at 10947 Alabama 25 in Calera.
