Even though it’s just Karen and Larry Norris in their 6,000-square-foot Riverchase home, the couple isn’t interested in moving.
“We thought about downsizing, but we looked around and couldn’t find anything we really wanted, so we’ve been doing a little bit of remodeling,” said Karen, who, as an interior decorator, typically heads up any décor decisions.
Ever since the couple purchased their home in 1994, five years after it was built, they’ve been making changes little by little over the years to the house, which has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and two half baths.
The house has become a colorful, comfortable family home that still retains a modern sense of style.
“We’ve been working on it a little at a time, and we’ve made it what we wanted,” Karen said.
