Ted Morton Fortner

Ted Morton Fortner, age 66, of Columbiana, passed away on Nov. 25, 2012. He was the son of the late William and Lilly Mae Scoggins Fortner.

He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Wayne Fortner (Bridgett Ann) of Douglasville, Ga., and Joel Scott “Smiley” Fortner (Kristi); grandchildren, Kayla Goins (Brandon), Jerrod Fortner, Jonathan Fortner, Aaron Fortner, Nicholas Fortner and Dalton Fortner; and great-grandchildren, Carter and Kaydence Goins.

A visitation will be held on Nov. 29 from 5-7 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church in Calera. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ted’s name to “The Field of Angels” P.O. Box 645, Calera, AL 35040. Charter Funeral Home directing.
