The Indian Springs Town Council met at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall Nov. 5, 2012.

Judge Hub Harrington swore in new Mayor Brenda Bell-Guercio. He then swore in council members Herb Robins, Jack Mendel, Kathryn Harrington, Brian Stauss and Bart Trammell as a group. The mayor and new council members signed the oath of office and then reviewed the agenda.

Motion to accept an ordinance setting rules and procedures of the council. Motion passed.

Motion to nominate Robins as council chairman pro tempore for the 2012-2016 term. Motion passed.

Motion to appoint Kelly Rasco as city clerk for the 2012-2016 term. Motion passed.

Motion to appoint Mendel as treasurer for the 2012-2016 term. Motion passed.

Motion to appoint Russ Allison as city attorney for the 2012-2016 term. Motion passed.

Motion to continue using bank accounts at Regions and Compass banks. Signatories for all accounts will be treasurer, mayor and city clerk. Motion passed.

Motion to nominate Robins as ex-officio to the Planning and Zoning Board. Motion passed.

Motion to accept Sept. 18 meeting minutes as presented. Motion passed.

Motion to accept Oct. 2 meeting minutes as presented. Motion passed.

Motion to accept Oct. 16 meeting minutes as presented. Motion passed.

Stauss resigned as Zoning Board of Adjustments member and chair. Motion to appoint Jane Martin to ZBA. Motion passed.
