Thomas R. Poe, age 68, of Thorsby, passed away on Nov. 27, 2012. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Nov. 30 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Willard Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Nov. 29 from 5-9 p.m. at the home of Mr. Poe.

Mr. Poe is preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Poe; parents, Albert and Florine Poe; brother, Allen Poe; and sister, Irine Poe. He is survived by daughters, Donna Parker (Haywood) and Linda Keene (William); sons, Richard Poe (Laura) and Eugene Poe (Janice); seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Poe; sister, Helen Poe; and numerous other family and friends.
