The Coosa Valley Rebels’ girls’ basketball team avenged their lone loss of the season with a 43-38 victory over Chambers Academy Dec. 7.

Coosa Valley (6-1) rallied from a two-point deficit at the half to tie the game headed into the fourth quarter. Kaylan Rich and Danielle Richardson combined for six made free throws down the stretch to seal the win for the Rebels.

Richardson led Coosa Valley with 21 points and five steals. Rich added a double-double scoring 19 points with 13 rebounds and five steals.
