The Kingwood Christian Lions capitalized on opportunities in transition and had a season-low in turnovers to cruise to an 83-61 win over Ashford Academy Dec. 7.

The Lions didn’t score under 19 points in any quarter on the night to take the win.

Josh Purvis led the Lions with 18 points. Daniel Fillingim and Titus Adams each scored 15 points in double-double performances. Fillingim had a team-high 14 rebounds while Adams added 12 boards.
