The Coosa Valley Rebels girls’ basketball team held Springwood to eight points in the fourth quarter to take a 53-49 win Dec. 11.

The Rebels trailed throughout the game before taking the lead with under two minutes remaining. Kayla Shaw hit key shots for the Rebels in the fourth-quarter rally in which Coosa Valley scored 18 points.

Danielle Richardson led Coosa Valley with 27 points and 10 steals. Kaylan Rich finished the game with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
