Hildegard Popp Brantley, age 76, of Montevallo, passed away on Dec 5, 2012, in Alabaster.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Brantley; her parents; and her brother.

Hilde is survived by her daughters, Anita Bennett and Karen Lowery, both of Montevallo; sons, Manfred Brantley of Montevallo, David Brantley of Sterrett and Robert A. Brantley of Montevallo; sister, Else Merkel of Zirndorf, Germany; brother, Werner Popp of Zirndorf, Germany; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Sellers officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Macedonia Cemetery. RockcoFuneralHomes.com.
