The Thompson Lady Warriors forced 36 Stanhope Elmore turnovers in a 64-35 area win Dec. 18.

Thompson (8-5, 2-0 in Class 6A, Area 7) was led by Janese Richardson’s 16 points and five steals. Kelsea Bivins added 15 points and 12 rebounds in a double-double effort.

Kat Cingoranelli scored seven points with 10 steals while Kiarra Pettway added seven points.
