Evangel Christian scored the game’s first 13 points, and used a stifling defense to hold Tabernacle Christian to just seven first half points, in a 46-24 win over the Torches in a non-conference game on Dec. 20.

Lacey Entrekin scored a game high 14 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead the Lightning (5-5), while Anna Byers had 13 points, nine rebounds and four steals.

Elizabeth Osborne paced Tabernacle with eight points.
