A group of Birmingham investors are searching for a tenant for the former O’Charley’s building on Alabama 119 in Pelham after they purchased the building in early November.

According to Shelby County Probate Court land transactions, Cahaba Valley Investments LLC purchased the 6,650-square-foot building at 101 Southgate Drive from O’Charley’s LLC for $1.1 million on Nov. 8.

The building, which opened as O’Charley’s more than 10 years ago, has been vacant since the restaurant closed several months ago.

Laura Jebeles, who is listed on the Cahaba Valley Investments business entity records with the Alabama secretary of state’s office, said she and her business partners are looking for a tenant to fill the property.

“We are talking to a few people, but there’s nothing concrete right now,” Jebeles said.
