LaGrange, Ga.

Mr. Larry Brewster, 64, of LaGrange, Ga., passed away on Dec. 26, 2012, at his home. Mr. Brewster was born on March 21, 1948, in Birmingham, son of the late J.P. Brewster and his mother, Maxine Smith Brewster of Calera. He was a self-employed truck driver, a graduate of Troup Technical School, he worked as a millwright for many years, was a disabled Vietnam Army veteran and served four tours in Vietnam. He was also a member at Pineview Baptist Church.

Along with his mother, survivors include his wife of 41 years, Linda Wade Brewster; a daughter and son-in-law, April and Brad Wisener of LaGrange, Ga., and their children, Alexsis and Andrew Wisener; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Tina Brewster of Kennesaw, Ga., and their daughter, Autumn; brothers, Henry Brewster of Union Grove; James Brewster of Columbiana; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Dec. 29 at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with Rev. Billy Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 28 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests donations be made to Disabled Vietnam Veterans of America.
