Myra “Jean” King, age 82, of Columbiana, passed away on Dec. 27, 2012. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Dec. 30 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Rev. Betsy King officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Garden of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Dec. 30 from 1-2 p.m. prior to funeral at the funeral home.

Mrs. King is preceded in death by her husband, J.B. King Jr. She was a long time member of the Columbiana and Shelby communities. Mrs. King retired at the age of 70 after 35 years of employment with J.G. Alston, DMD. She is survived by her children, Ben King (Debra), Johnny King (Elizabeth) and Betsy King; six grandchildren, Brian and Brent Popwell, Julie King Berens, Heidi Britnell Burns, David King and McKenzie Britnell; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Fay Porter; and other family and friends.
