Agnes Bernice Murphy, age 77, of Harpersville, died on Dec. 30, 2012, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

Funeral service was Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with Rev. Wayne Lowe and Rev. Bob Durham officiating. Visitation was Jan. 2 from 5-8 p.m. held at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Burial was held in Vincent Cemetery.

She is survived by sons, Gary Lee Murphy of Harpersville, Keith Murphy (Cathy) of Childersburg and Eddie Murphy (Vicki) of Harpersville; daughter, Cathy Chesser (Kenny) of Chelsea; brothers, Martin Gibson and Authur Gibson, both of Vincent; sister, Mary Ann Huskey of Sylacauga; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
