Funeral services for Edith E. McCord, age 81 of Columbiana, will be at 2 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2013, at Columbiana United Methodist Church with Rev. Pete Grice and Rev. Lloyd Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens. Visitation will be Jan. 11, 2013, from noon-2 p.m. at Columbiana United Methodist Church.

Mrs. McCord, passed away on Jan. 8, 2013, at her home surrounded with family and friends. She was born on March 16, 1931, in Randolph County. She moved to Columbiana with her husband, Harold L. McCord, in 1961. She was the bookkeeper for McCord OK Tire Store for 37 years. She has been a member of the Columbiana United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was a member of the Circle of Love and also a member of the Open Door Sunday School Class.

Mrs. McCord was a very loving, caring and trustworthy lady. She was a loyal wife, mother and grandmother to her husband, children and grandchildren. We loved her so much and we will miss her so much but her memories will live on forever. Our family would like to thank four special ladies for all of the love and care that they gave to our mother and grandmother during her sickness. She is survived by her children; Kenny McCord (Nina) and Cathy Snider (Doug); grandchildren, Britney McCord, Justin Snider, Joseph McCord, Will Snider and Kelley Snider; brother, Warren Brady (Alene); sisters-in-law, Lucille Brady and Mary Alice McCellean; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
